SacJoaquin Valley/Foothills Intercounty Transfer Protocol

Effective: October 3, 2005 Amended: January 12, 2015

This Protocol was developed to assist jurisdictions in transferring the authority over juvenile delinquency and dependency cases from one county to another. The Protocol consists of procedures, rules and coordination tools that help court staff, probation officers and social workers to process these cases efficiently.

The following jurisdictions, including their Superior Court, Probation Department and Child Welfare Agency, have agreed to abide by the Protocol:

Transfer-In Hearing Information

Juvenile Justice

The Juvenile Justice Court is located at 9605 Kiefer Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95827. The location and times of transfer-in hearings are:

• In-Custody / Out-of-Custody: Monday - Friday at 1:30 p.m. Juvenile Court Reception
• Non-Minor Dependent: Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Department 92, Juvenile Court Reception

Juvenile Dependency

The Juvenile Dependency Court is located at 3341 Power Inn Road, Sacramento, CA 95826. The location and times of transfer hearings are:

WIC § 300 Petitions: Monday thru Friday at 8:30 a.m., Third (3^rd) Floor, Juvenile Dependency Reception

Non-Minor Dependent: Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Department 92, Juvenile Court Reception. Please note: Department 92 is located at 9605 Kiefer Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95827.
