Sacramento Superior Court welcomes bids, quotes, and proposals from businesses based in the United States for needed IT and non-IT goods and services. However, under the Darfur Contracting Act, "scrutinized companies" that do business in the African nation of Sudan (of which the Darfur region is a part), are generally ineligible to submit a bid/quote for non-IT goods or services. (Public Contract Code sec. 10475-10481)

Public Contract Code sec. 10478(a) requires a company that currently has (or within the previous three years has had) business activities or other operations outside of the United States to certify that it is not a "scrutinized company" in order to submit a bid, quote, or proposal to the court for non-IT goods or services. If this applies to your U.S. business, please review the Darfur Contracting Act Certification Form. If applicable, complete the form and submit with your bid, quote, or proposal. Note: if your company, within the previous three years, has not had any business activities or other operations outside of the United States, you do not need to complete this form.
