The Civil Records Unit is located in Room 102 just past the Civil Filing Counter.

The Civil Records Unit retains case files on-site for approximately 3 years. All other files are kept at an off-site Records Retention Center and take 3 to 5 business days to be delivered to the Gordon D. Schaber Sacramento County Courthouse.
