Due to the Court closure, the Self Help Center is also closed. Beginning May 1, 2020, assistance can be requested through e-Correspondence. Please check the Court’s website for updates at https://www.saccourt.ca.gov/general/coronavirus.aspx.

If you come to the Self-Help Center in person, you must first get a number from Reception. When your number is called, you will be required to show valid photo identification and complete a brief questionnaire. Acceptable forms of photo identification include a driver license, passport, United States military identification or a legal permanent resident card. Consular identification is not accepted. Depending on the legal issue you wish to address, you may be referred to a workshop or our e-Correspondence System

Each time you visit the Self-Help Center, please remember to bring the following items:

  • Valid photo identification
  • Your case number
  • A blue or black ink pen
  • Money for the photocopier and/or parking
