Public Notice - New Fee Waiver Forms
Effective Wednesday, July 1, 2009, new mandatory Fee Waiver forms are required. The court will continue to accept the old applications/requests through July 31, 2009, after which no old forms will be accepted by the court.

2008-2009 Grand Jury Issues Final Report

Civil Self-Help Center Relocation
The Civil Self-Help Center, a project of the Voluntary Legal Service Program (VLSP), closed at its courthouse location at noon on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. We are pleased to announce that the Sacramento County Superior Court will be partnering with the Sacramento County Public Law Library and VLSP to continue the services of the Self-Help Center at a new location.
The Civil Self-Help Center - external link will re-open at the Sacramento County Public Law Library on Monday, July 6, 2009. The Center will be open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, but will remain open on Mondays until 7:30 pm.
Public Notice - Law & Motion Filing
Effective Monday, June 29, 2009, all document filing for Law & Motion will be handled at the Downtown Courthouse, 720 9th Street in Room 102, at the Civil customer service counters. Public service will no longer be available at the Law & Motion customer service counters after this date.
Law & Motion hearings will continue to be held at 800 9th Street in Departments 53 and 54. For a detailed notice of the changes, download the Changes to Law & Motion handout.
