Access the Virtual Public Counter via Zoom Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to discuss your case with a clerk or check in virtually for a court appearance. A strong video and audio connection is required for the Zoom application. The Virtual Public Counter is closed on court holidays.
While speaking with Traffic staff, please keep your device still as movement may cause connection and sound issues. To avoid delays, please verify connection to both audio and video as soon as you hear the clerk.

Contact our call center at 916-669-5712 to discuss case options Monday through Friday, 4 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., with reduced hours on some holidays.
You can appear in person to discuss case options Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carol Miller Justice Center at 301 Bicentennial Circle, Room 100, Sacramento, CA 95826. The Carol Miller Justice Center is closed on court holidays. Please note that if you are checking in for same-day arraignment on more than five cases, you must check in before 10:15 a.m. to be placed on the morning calendar or before 4 p.m. to be placed on the afternoon calendar.
Traffic Night Court services are offered until 6:15 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Carol Miller Justice Center. If the 2nd Wednesday of the month is a court holiday, Night Court will occur the following business day.
You may appear virtually at the Virtual Public Counter or in-person at the Traffic Public Counter to discuss case options, such as checking in for arraignment, showing proof of correction, setting up payments, and more. Interpreter services are not currently available after 5:00 p.m.
Correspondence for Traffic Court may be deposited in the drop box 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The drop box is to the left of the Carol Miller Justice Center main doors. All correspondence deposited before 5 p.m. each business day will be filed for that same day. Any correspondence deposited after 5 p.m. will be filed for the following business day.
The Carol Miller Justice Center is closed on Fridays. Any documents deposited in the drop box on a Friday will be considered filed the following business day. If you need traffic documents filed on a Friday, you can utilize the drop box inside the William R. Ridgeway Family Relations Courthouse at 3341 Power Inn Road between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
