Civil Trial Readiness Notification (12/2/11)
Effective for any Long Cause Civil Trial dates after 1/1/2012, Counsel shall notify the court of their readiness to begin their civil trial. Notification shall be made electronically by accessing the Civil Trial Readiness Notification page. Upon accessing the notification page, counsel shall provide information as to the status of the case. Notification shall be from 10 court days before the trial date to 1:30 p.m. the Thursday before the trial date.
Acceptance of Credit Cards for Civil Fees - Effective 10/4/11
The Court now accepts payments by Visa and MasterCard for most Civil fees. Please visit Filing Instructions and Procedures for more information.
Changes to the Civil Trial Setting Process - Effective 10/3/11
Parties now select and submit their requested Trial and Mandatory Settlement Conference dates via an online form located on the Trial Setting Process page.
In addition, parties now have unlimited dates to choose from when selecting their Trial dates. Once parties choose the trial date, available Mandatory Settlement Conference dates will be made available to choose.
Electronic Submission of the Settlement Conference Statement - Effective 9/15/11
Parties may now submit their Settlement Conference Statement in electronic form by e-mail with the statement attached as a .pdf document. See the Settlement Conferences page for more information.
