Case Management Program and Minors Compromise Assignments Effective 2013
For all Case Management Program and Minors Compromise matters filed after January 1, 2013 (regardless of when the case was filed), the case assignment method is an odd/even designation based on the last digit of the case number. "0" is an even number for this purpose.

Law and Motion Assignments Effective 2013
For NEW CASES filed after January 1, 2013, the case assignment method for Law and Motion matters will be an odd/even designation based on the last digit of the case number. "0" is an even number for this purpose. All Law and Motion matters for CASES filed prior to January 1, 2013 shall be heard by the Law and Motion department previously assigned.

Some examples:
- If you have a case filed in 2012 and want to file a new Petition for Minors Compromise in 2013, it will be assigned a department based on the odd/even distribution.
- If you have a case filed in 2012 and want to file a new Law and Motion matter, it will be heard in the Law and Motion department originally assigned to your case, when it was filed.
- If you have a case filed in 2013 and you want to file a Law and Motion matter, it will be heard using the odd/even distribution.
